The Credit Club is designed to inform and educate consumers on topics of interest that will help them understand credit and how to effectively use it.  Individuals who attend the Credit Club on a regular basis will be able to advocate for themselves in understanding how credit works, managing credit and improving their credit score.  The Credit Club meets on a monthly basis and will discuss various topics that relate to individuals improving their credit and financial stability. Credit Club sessions are facilitated by a licensed Credit Counselor and/or a professional in the subject area to be discussed.

Upcoming Topics include:
 
March 7:        Student Loans: Blessing or Curse?
                        A primer and review of the various types and uses of student loans, as well as
                        the "how to" application process, use, and repayment. This is a MUST for 
                        students, parents, and those who already have a student loan.
 
April 4:           Pre-paid cards: they're not all the same, and one size doesn't fit all
                        Does it save you money? Allow you to build credit? What are the benefits
                        and the pitfalls? This session will help you decide what's right for you.
 
May 2:            Insurance: Everything you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask!
                        This session will cover everything from Obamacare to life, property, and 
                        casualty insurance coverage.
 
June 6:           Personal Finances for the Small Business Person
                        Personal money management strategies for those who have a small
                        business or think they may want to start one!

Please note that there are no childcare facilities onsite. All classes are for adults only (age 17 and up) unless otherwise noted. Thank you in advance for not bringing any children under the age of 17 to your scheduled class or workshop.
