The Credit Club is designed to inform and educate consumers on topics of interest that will help them understand credit and how to effectively use it.  Individuals who attend the Credit Club on a regular basis will be able to advocate for themselves in understanding how credit works, managing credit and improving their credit score.  The Credit Club meets on a monthly basis and will discuss various topics that relate to individuals improving their credit and financial stability. Credit Club sessions are facilitated by a licensed Credit Counselor and/or a professional in the subject area to be discussed.

The Fair Housing Workshop provides a review and discussion of the Fair Housing Law as it applies to renters. The two and a half hour workshop, facilitated by a licensed credit counselor, will provide information about your rights as a renter, and how to create a cooperative relationship with your landlord and other tenants. Other topics covered include money management skills and strategies, as well as additional services and resources available for renters.

Making Ends Meet is a free two hour basic budgeting course facilitated by one of Family Services, Inc.'s professional, certified credit counselors. The course provides education in developing and balancing a budget, managing money to make the most of each paycheck, and provides an introduction to credit. Making Ends Meet is designed for individuals who have not had any prior financial literacy education. Individuals who currently do not have a bank account and/or who may have had a bank account closed by a financial institution in the past are encouraged to attend this class. Making Ends meet provides participants with the basic skills that are necessary to begin building a financial road map for the future.

Young adults ages 16 and older are encouraged to attend the Making Ends Meet Budgeting course.  Learning the value of budgeting money at an early age paves the way to sustained financial independence and asset building.  Making Ends Meet provides crucial education to young adults so that they will know how to identify and avoid predatory lenders and make smart spending decisions in the future.
